What Happens Next with Milton Keynes Council’s Climate Change Emergency Motion?

March 20 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Milton Keynes

MK Council discussed the MK Sustainability Strategy at a cabinet meeting on 8th January 2019 where it was declared that we are in a climate change emergency.

This Strategy sets out the Council’s commitment to making Milton Keynes a world leading sustainable city which strives to be carbon neutral by 2030 and carbon negative by 2050.

It’s great to have this motion… but what happens next?

Join the Green Party on Wednesday 20th March at Bletchley Library (7pm for 7.30 start until 9.30 pm) to discuss what we can do next.

The meeting will have talks, discussions and activities to tackle questions like:

  • How can we follow up on MK Council’s Climate Emergency motion?
  • What does it mean for us?
  • What can we do and how can we pressure our Council to follow through?
