Grow Your Own Food Forest: Private Garden Tour for Course Attendees
This is a private 1-hour in-person “tour & talk” event that is only for registered attendees of the “Forest Garden Design” course taking place on 25 & 26 September (a short drive away) in Ampthill, Bedfordshire.
We welcome permaculture designer and Forest Garden specialist, Rakesh “Rootsman Rak” to the Planting Up forest garden, to share useful information on how to create a low maintenance food forest in any size garden, as he helps us to apply our learning from the course so far.
What you’ll get from this event:
This talk is only open to people who have signed up to Rakesh’s weekend Forest Garden Design course, as it provides a practical view on how we can apply the practices learned on the course for sustainable food forest design.
At this talk, Rakesh will tour around our small forest garden demonstration plot, sharing his practical tips for how to plant and maintain a food forest.
Event format:
Taking place immediately after Day 1 of the Forest Garden Design course in Ampthill, attendees will tour the Planting Up forest garden at Westbury Arts Centre with Rakesh until the sun goes down (around 7pm).
Registration:
Places are available on a first come, first served registration basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
