The Woodland Trust is giving away free trees to local communities so that together, we can get millions more trees in the ground across the UK to help us step closer to reaching our national net-zero carbon target.

Westbury Arts Centre, supported by the Transition Town Milton Keynes “Planting Up” (permaculture) project, is hosting two events to plant trees in the Arts Centre grounds.

You are invited to join this one, the first event, taking place on Friday 30 October 2020 to help us prepare the ground for planting the trees in November.

Volunteers are required to bring their own gloves and tools for clearing and weeding (if you have them) and are advised to dress suitably for the weather conditions. Bringing a refillable water bottle is also advised but refreshments and a hot lunch will be provided for volunteers.

Registration is essential as your place will be confirmed by email along with all the details you will need to participate on the day; including the Covid-19 safety guidelines that we will be following and a reminder of what you need to bring.
